Abstract: A field experiment was laid out in RBD with three replication and seven treatments using soluble and insoluble sources of phosphorus at different combinations and lime in groundnut–groundnut cropping system during 2013-14 and 2014-15 to study their effect on the productivity, protein and oil content and nutrient use efficiencies ; 100% P (SSP) + Lime @ 0.2 LR produced the highest pod yield (26.5 q ha-1) followed by RP : SSP (1 : 1) (25.7 q ha-1) But these were at par. The Agronomic Efficiency of P followed the same order. The Apparent P recovery was highest in 100% P (SSP) + Lime @ 0.2 LR. The highest oil content and protein content in kernel were recorded in 100% P (SSP) + Lime @ 0.2 LR. It also recorded highest S uptake followed by RP SSP 1)The later produced highest agronomic efficiency of S. Physiological Efficiency of S was the same in 100% P (SSP) + Lime @ 0.2 LR. The later recorded highest % increase in total K uptake (94.5%). The Agronomic Efficiency in terms of Ca and Apparent Ca recovery was highest in application of RP : SSP (1 : 1)
