Is a technique used in animation medium to bring static or still objects to life on screen.
Although the use of traditional visual representation prior to using the digital one,
animator/artist much attract to the fact that the devices were easier to function, using
clay figures, puppets, miniatures and 2D drawings opportunity of instant result and the
multiple options to select more off a select it gave them a blue print / test print before the
still images which is much easier to the animator to analyze, assess and editing options
before the final result. We use to see the stop motion animation in commercials, television
programme and movies. Whenever we see the advertisements we hardly make to visualize
the making. The specific style or specific format of stop motion animation can be making
out from its way of presentation and visuals. The specific characteristic in the making
made the entire concept into the reality. Sometimes it is really difficult to make to
understand the frame by frame animation without the focus point and the idea of the
animator. As we know the film roll has it's own limitations. As far as the camera film roll is
concern animator could not see the images how their visuals look until the processed
them into films. Digital SLR and computer made the entire stop –motion animation into
the streaming the video, re-edit without losing the frames. |
